Product Principle:

When a conductor moves in a magnetic field, the induced current creates an Ampere force on the conductor. The induced current’s magnetic field direction opposes the external magnetic field, hindering the object’s movement. When an aluminum ring falls freely from top to bottom through the acrylic tube containing a magnet, an induced current is generated in the aluminum ring opposing the magnet’s direction. This is why the aluminum ring falls slowly, a phenomenon known as magnetic damping.

Gameplay Points:

Use your hand to pull both aluminum rings on the tubes up to the top and release them simultaneously. You can observe one aluminum ring fall quickly while the other ring inside the tube containing the magnet falls slowly due to the induced current from the magnet.
