For an object moving in circular motion, it appears as if there is an outward force equal in magnitude to the centripetal force, but opposite in direction, causing the object to move away from the center of the circular motion. It seems as if the centrifugal force is greater than the centripetal force, and the object would move away from the center. This phenomenon is called the “centrifugal effect.”
