Caution with Electricity
In these 3 circuits, only 1 light bulb will light up. In the 2nd circuit, the wire is broken so electricity can’t flow through – the light bulb won’t turn on. In the 3rd circuit, the light bulb is shorted out so electricity takes a shortcut instead of going through the bulb. Only the 1st circuit is complete so the electricity can power the light.
Power sources can be dangerous. Don’t put your hands inside – people conduct electricity and touching the plugs could cause shocks.
Different materials are found around the house. Some let electricity flow through easily while others make it hard.
